Andrew Wegener

Andrew has had a love of hiking and the outdoors since childhood, growing up in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia. Before settling in South East Queensland, he had an adventurous career in the Australian Army, patrolling the bush of northern and southern Australia, and deploying to the mountains of Afghanistan. A student of people and history, Andrew has traveled across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and North Africa, and continues to be fascinated about the different landscapes and cultures on offer. He first experienced the beauty of Tasmania while exploring the island with his mother, and returns regularly to spend time with family and explore the natural wonder of this enchanting island.
