A Close Encounter With the Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi

A group of gorillas walks through a dense, green forest. The male silverback leads, surrounded by thick foliage and various plants. It's a true brush with the wild as they navigate their lush habitat together.

In the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi National Park, WT adventurer Vic Schachter snapped this photo. “The silverback actually brushed by me as he passed, right after I took this photo… quite a thrill!” says Vic.
