A Bird’s Eye View Over The Himalayas

See the Heights of the Himalaya from a Scenic Flight

Bird's eye view of a mountain range with snow-covered peaks and rugged terrain, illuminated by sunlight against a clear blue sky.

The Himalaya stretch as far as the eye can see north of Kathmandu, east and west along the Nepal-China border.

View from an airplane window showing a wing and engine with a vast expanse of clouds below and snow-capped mountain peaks on the horizon, offering a breathtaking bird's eye view of the majestic landscape.

Our good fortune included clear skies and mesmerizing views from our Yeti Airlines flights, one hundred miles in each direction from Kathmandu, and south of the range.

A panoramic bird's eye view of snow-capped mountain peaks under a clear blue sky, with sharp ridges and valleys visible. Captured through breathtaking aerial photography, the mountains are part of a wide-ranging, rugged landscape.

I was able to photograph seven of the fourteen over-8,000-meter-tall peaks, including Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest), the most revered of them all.

A serene bird's eye view of majestic, snow-covered mountain peaks under a clear blue sky.

Most of us will never set foot on the slopes of these giants, but seeing them in all their majesty was an incredible highlight of our trip and absolutely unforgettable.
