Scroll through our signature accommodations for this trip below. Although it is highly unlikely, we may make substitutions when necessary.
The best time to hike in the Imlil region of the High Atlas Mountains is during the spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October), when temperatures are mild and most trails are snow-free at higher elevations. These seasons offer the most reliable conditions for both village walks and higher mountain passes. In summer (July-August), temperatures in the valleys can be hot, though higher-altitude routes remain accessible with early starts. From December through February, snow frequently limits access to higher passes and restricts hiking to lower-altitude village and valley routes. March is generally suitable for lower-altitude walks, with conditions improving as the season progresses.
