Lone Mountain Ranch

Nestled in the heart of Big Sky Montana, historic Lone Mountain Ranch is just 18 miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone. Founded in 1915 as a working cattle operation, it was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2005. Today this 150-acre ranch has an epic cross-country ski trail system, world-class dining, a laid-back atmosphere, and a team of wonderful guides who know Montana and Yellowstone as few others do and have a gift for making this land and its stories come alive. The property consists of 30 guest rooms located within 27 unique cabins.
