Hotel Grano de Oro

A great place to stay for your first or additional nights in Costa Rica! This historic and elegant 35-room hotel was created from a former Victorian mansion. Rooms are furnished in tropical Victorian style, with wrought-iron beds and handcrafted furnishings. The upscale yet unpretentious restaurant adjoining the garden courtyard is one of San Jose's finest, and was chosen by the “Junta Asesora Gourmet Centroamericana” as one of the top 25 restaurants in Costa Rica. Be sure to take a soak in the rooftop Jacuzzi.
