Vasili Vasileiou

Born and raised in Ioannina, Greece, Vasili grew up in the trekking business, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle. After college in Thessaloniki, he worked as a trek leader before heading to Cervinia, Italy, where he served as a ski patrol guide and led private trekking trips. In 2017, he enrolled in Greece’s newly established mountain guide school, completing his training in 2019. Today, he is a member of UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leader Associations). When not leading our Greek adventures in the summer, Vasili ski patrols at Vasilitsa National Ski Resort and explores the mountains around his home village of Zagorochoria. “Mountaineering, skiing, and hiking are my life. And that life I want to share with the people I guide—the peace and the simple life of nature.”
