Tasio Martin

Tasio grew up in the Basque Country with a deep connection to the mountains. Hiking, climbing, skiing, cycling, and kayaking were a big part of his childhood, and his passion for mountaineering has taken him around the world—from the Himalayas and Karakoram to Yosemite and Patagonia. He holds degrees in Physical Therapy and Sports Sciences, and alongside guiding, works at a mountain refuge in the heart of the Basque Country. For Tasio, introducing travelers to the Pyrenees and surrounding regions is about sharing his love for the outdoors, helping others experience the mountains that inspired his career, and making every step of the journey memorable.
