Ozgur Aldemir

After spending his early education years in his native town of Alasehir, Ozgur left for Antalya to attend Akdeniz University, where he received a degree in Tourism Management. He fell in love with “nature sports” after becoming a member of the university’s mountaineering club and started guiding nature tours in 2009. After participating in field work for the Pisidia Cultural Heritage Route, a project of the British Archaeological Institute, he received his guide license in 2018 and has since guided archaeologists, art historians, and journalists, along with tours to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In between his busy guiding stints, Ozgur is pursuing a master’s degree in Tourist Guidance, with a thesis on Cultural Routes.
