Australia Trip Leader

Louise Evans

The varied Australian landscape has been a constant in Louise's life. She studied agriculture and coastal management, and has always loved the outdoors. A move to the Far South Coast of NSW (halfway between Melbourne and Sydney) allowed her to raise her children while watching humpback whale migrations and guiding wildlife tours to the small offshore island of Barunguba. She has completed multiple ultra-marathon trails, adores mountain biking in old growth forest in Tasmania, and for many years between multi-day hikes resided on a bush-block (a privately owned property that supports native vegetation) in a double decker bus with her family. For the last three years, Louise has been guiding groups trekking the Larapinta trail and has fallen in love with the landscape, people, and culture of central Australia, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to share this with our guests.
