Kristín Irene Valdemarsdóttir

Kristín Irene is deeply connected to the wild landscapes of Iceland and has a passion for sharing its wonders with travelers. She is half Icelandic and half Norwegian and loves exploring all corners of the island, especially the dramatic couloirs and open slopes of the Troll Peninsula via backcountry skiing. Her love for the rugged lava fields and delicate Icelandic fauna makes her a knowledgeable and inspiring Trip Leader. When she's not guiding adventures, she enjoys spending time with her husband (fellow WT Leader, Jón Marino Saevarsson) and trail running year-round.
