Europe Trip Leader
Languages Spoken: Italian, English, Spanish
With deep roots in his Italian heritage, Giuseppe Aruta is a Certified Italian Tour Leader in both English and Spanish. Born in Naples, he studied and worked in Florence before settling in Bologna, where he also teaches at a secondary school. He holds a PhD in geology and worked extensively as a survey geologist on public projects for universities and governmental agencies before turning his attention to tourism. This gives him in-depth knowledge of Italy's natural and cultural heritage and the ability to communicate complex topics in an engaging way. A born teacher, Giuseppe is appreciated by travelers for his kind, professional attitude and sense of humor.
Our Team"Giuseppe is a kind, knowledgable, and perceptive man. He was immensely helpful, knows an amazing amount about a lot of things, is a good teacher, and sensitive to individual moods/feelings/needs. And a great picnic chef in the bargain."
