Tiago grew up in Portugal with a deep connection to nature and the outdoors. His passion for rock climbing, hiking, mountain activities, biking, and other outdoor pursuits led him to a career as a professional guide. For the past 15 years, he has worked as a certified tourist guide and Tour Leader, sharing the beauty and character of Portugal with travelers from around the world. He loves taking guests beyond the country’s famous monuments and gardens to discover its spectacular landscapes, rich history, and hidden natural gems that can be difficult to find on their own. For Tiago, guiding is a two-way experience—one of his greatest pleasures is meeting people from around the world and seeing his own country through their eyes.
