Jean Claude grew up near the sea in Livorno, Italy. As a child, he used to run away from home at night to explore the nearby woods and fields. His love of nature led him to share it with others, and he’s been a licensed commercial guide for more than 30 years, traveling and guiding throughout Italy, Provence, Kamchatka, Iceland, and New Zealand. After completing a bachelor’s degree in biology, he currently continues his studies for a master’s in neuroscience at the University of Pisa. Jean Claude loves ski mountaineering and freediving, and owns an e-bike rental company. He lives with his wife in the mountains of Tuscany.
