Azmil Pillantong

Azmil Pillantong grew up exploring the forests of Borneo. He began his career as a guide with Borneo Rainforest Lodge, then started leading trips throughout Sabah. His knowledge of the flora and fauna of Borneo is second to none, and one of his biggest passions is birding, with a goal to see every species on the island of Borneo. Azmil’s ability to mimic bird sounds is incredible, especially his mimicking of the Bornean bristlehead!
