Ashwin H.P.

Ashwin has always been passionate about the natural world, especially elephants! He hails from Mysore, India, surrounded by forests on all sides, which made it easy for his forays to watch for animals and birds. He is also an avid photographer and has spent time making wildlife films. After working in research for many years, including base line studies of mammals in a tiger reserve and working with more than 20 villages on mitigating conflicts between humans and elephants, Ashwin now works actively as a naturalist. In the off season he continues to help his friends in filmmaking and also dabbles in research projects from time to time.
