Funtensee, Germany
A stone hike-in lodge open only in summer, Karlinger Haus is set on the shores of a small lake called the Funtensee. The lodge is very simple, with four-bedded rooms and shared bathroom facilities down the hall. There’s a great wood-paneled dining hall/lounge where we can dine and relax with fellow hikers.
