Traveler, hiker, skier, and guide by passion, and graphic designer by trade, Laurence (Lolo) Frison embodies the life of an adventurer. She spent a decade exploring the world from Africa to Australia, including a three-month road trip from Vancouver to Los Angeles, and has specialized in guiding groups in the French Alps, gaining her French national credential in mountain leadership. You can often find her leading groups on tasty detours through the French markets, a cultural gateway to the pulse of France, she says. When not leading hiking adventures with us, she finds new adventures through biking and beekeeping in Thonon les Bains (in the French Alps), where she lives. “She consistently went the 'extra mile,' sharing with us honey from her own beehives, researching questions we had about local flora on her own time, and pointing out interesting features of the locale that we would otherwise not have noticed,” said one client.
As a native of France, Lolo provided local perspective and background on the country while her youth and enthusiasm for hiking energized us.
