Karl Klingeler

Karl fell in love with the ocean early on in life while living in Southern California. His first job was at Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas in Nassau, where he met his wife. Their love of the ocean growing, they moved to Bali, where Karl worked as a Co-Cruise Director on a liveaboard boat in the Komodo, Alor, and Raja Ampat archipelagos. He served as Cruise Director on a luxury liveaboard in the Indonesian archipelago for 10 years and is conversant in Indonesian. With over 20 years of experience in diving, snorkeling, and leading trips in Indonesia—and more than 12,000 dives under his belt—he is passionate about sharing his love of Raja Ampat.
