Ishara Udi Udayangana

Ishara Udayangana, known as Udi, was born and raised in Sri Lanka and has a natural passion for life and for his home country. With over a decade of experience as a Trip Leader, he has a wonderful ability to spin stories that breathe life into Sri Lanka's historical landmarks and animate the incredible atmosphere found in the country's ancient ruin sites. For Udi, every cobblestone and every sunset has a story waiting to be uncovered. Like many Sri Lankans, he is talented in singing and playing the guitar, two pastimes that he enjoys when not guiding. He is also an advocate of climate-conscious travel and believes that responsible travel is not a choice but a commitment.
