Hotel Sofitel Metropole
The Hotel Sofitel Metropole is a French colonial-style hotel built at the turn of the century by two private French investors. It’s considered Hanoi’s “grand old dame” and its guest list has included presidents, ambassadors, and royalty, as well as authors Somerset Maugham and Graham Greene. Guest rooms in the Opera Wing are tastefully decorated and feature one queen bed or two single beds, beautiful polished wood floors, and bathrooms with all the amenities. The hotel offers a fitness center, outdoor pool, spa facilities, and three restaurants, including an award-winning French restaurant.
