Okaukuejo Resort

Okaukuejo is located about eight miles from the southern entrance of Etosha National Park. Accommodations are in bush chalets that are basic but comfortable. Other facilities at this government-owned camp include a restaurant that serves buffet-style meals, a bar, gift shop, and a swimming pool. One of the reasons we spend a night here is the camp's famous flood-lit waterhole, where we can observe at close quarters (and sometimes right from our chalets) a continuous spectacle of wildlife congregating and interacting—elephants, rhinos, zebras, amazing birdlife, and more.
