Sergio Mastroberardino was born in the town of Avellino in southern Italy. He is a Certified Alpine Ski Instructor and during the winter season works full time with various ski schools and as a professional ski guide. Sergio has lived and taught skiing in Aspen, Colorado, Val D'Isere, France, and many different areas of the Italian Alps. During his summer "off-season" he enjoys leading hiking and walking trips throughout his native Italy. When he has free time he likes reading, listening to jazz, and enjoying outdoor sports such as rafting, canoeing, and biking, among others. Besides his native Italian, he is fluent in English and French.
