Marian Gibert

Marian Gibert has been a world traveler from a young age. She was born in Bilbao, Spain, grew up in Venezuela, and later lived in Britain, where she studied Business Administration at Cambridge. She also lived and worked in Engelberg, a resort in the Swiss Alps, picking up the Swiss-German and French languages along with her fluent English. Marian is a hiker, climber, skier, diver, mountain biker, and a veteran of many of our trips in Spain and the Alps. Her passion for outdoor sports led her to operate her own mountain hotel in a small village in the Alpujarras, where she guided horseback riding and mountain biking trips. She also enjoys driving and has taken part in several 4WD rallies in North Africa. When not guiding for Wilderness Travel, Marian lives in Malaga in the south of Spain.
