Fuel Surcharges
Because the prices published by cruise operators are set so far in advance of the trip dates, they are occasionally faced with exceptional cost fluctuations due to increase in fuel costs that affect the actual cost of running the trip. In most years, no price changes are necessary. However, they do reserve the right to raise or lower the trip price if there is a significant change in costs. If this is the case, your final invoice will reflect the difference in trip cost.

- Educational lectures and guiding services provided by the Expedition team
- All meals, snacks, tea and coffee during the voyage
- Beer, house wine and soft drinks with dinner
- Comprehensive pre-departure information
- Complimentary access to onboard expedition doctor and medical clinic (initial consult)
- Waterproof, polar expedition jacket
- Complimentary use of muck boots during the voyage
- Port charges, permits and landing fees
- Gratuities for ship’s crew
Trip Cost Does Not Include
International and domestic airfare, airport departure taxes, transfer on days other that arrival/departure dates, hotels en route to and home from the trip, any additional hotel nights that may be necessary due to international airline schedule changes or other factors, optional excursions and optional activity charges, pre-trip expenses of medical immunizations, passport and visa fees, comprehensive travel insurance, and other expenses of a personal nature (laundry, alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks outside of dinners, Wi-fi, phone or email charges, etc.).
