Notes on Pricing

Singles/Triples: A very limited number of guaranteed single cabins are available in Forward Window and Window Suites at 150% of the per-person double occupancy rate. Singles in all other categories are offered at 200% of the double occupancy rate. A third person may be added to a double occupancy cabin in Forward Window Suites, with the third person paying 50% of the double occupancy cruise price and using a sofa bed (suitable for a child or small adult).

Shared Cabins: Participants traveling by themselves and wishing to share a cabin at double occupancy rates may request a roommate. We will do our best to match you with another single traveler of the same gender in a Porthole, Forward Window, or Window Suite. If this is not possible, the single rate of 150% of the per-person rate for that cabin category will apply.

Air Travel and Extensions

Information about booking your international flights and extensions in Buenos Aires and to Iguazu Falls will be available approximately one year before departure.

Travel Insurance

Due to the remoteness of the locations visited on this trip, all passengers are required to carry valid emergency evacuation insurance. This insurance must cover evacuation expenses, personal injury, medical expenses, and repatriation expenses, and we strongly recommend a plan which also includes coverage for trip cancellation and interruption. As any potential evacuation from Antarctica can cost as much as $200,000, your policy should carry no less than this amount of coverage. If you have not already purchased insurance, you may purchase your own or take advantage our comprehensive Travel Protection Plan, designed for Wilderness Travel by Travelex Insurance. You may view our insurance plan HERE.

Special Notes

In the unlikely event that this program cannot be operated for any reason beyond the control of the operators, the refund of all payments received shall release Wilderness Travel, Inc. from any liability. All guest experts named in this brochure are confirmed at the time of publication. If any speaker must cancel, Wilderness Travel will attempt to provide, but cannot guarantee, a suitable replacement. It is difficult to predict fuel costs over the long term, and our prices are based upon the prevailing fuel rates at the time of the brochure printing, which is well in advance of departure. While we will do everything possible to maintain our prices, if fuel prices increase significantly prior to the time of the voyage, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge.
