Tok Tokkie Trail

Tok Tokkie is located in the southern part of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, the largest privately owned nature reserve in southern Africa. Here we sleep not in safari tents but in special open-air “dune beds.” These are fairly comfortable outdoor beds with foam mattresses, cotton duvets, and pillows—and you'll sleep right below the star-filled sky. The bedding fits inside a waterproof canvas outer duvet that keeps the bed warm. Near your individual bed there's a hand basin with water, a camp chair, and a table. Meals are also served in an open dining area around a table and chairs. The bucket shower and a toilet shelter are nearby, yet secluded.
