Dawit Yehualashet is a graduate of Bahir Dar Teachers College, where he studied history and graduated with distinction. He spent two years teaching at a secondary school, then joined Addis Ababa University in 1997 to begin his degree in history. He also earned a Masters degree in political science from Indiana State University. Dawit has been a WT Trip Leader since 2001, and continues to live up to his reputation as a fine guide with an impressive ability to impart historical, cultural, and archaeological knowledge, with great proficiency in English. He also loves traveling the wilder corners of Ethiopia and sharing his knowledge of the ethnic groups in the southern reaches of the country.
