Palden Sherpa

Palden Sherpa was born in 1987 in the Solukhumbhu region of Nepal—home to Mount Everest in the eastern part of the country. He has completed several courses in guiding, rock climbing, mountaineering, and first aid, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2014. Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and Mardi Himal Base Camp are among the list of spectacular trekking routes throughout the Himalaya he has guided. Besides trekking, he has completed climbing expeditions to multiple peaks including Pisang, Lobuche, Island Peak, and Mera. Palden is enthusiastic about sharing the incredible beauty of his native homeland with adventurers from around the world. When he’s not on the trails, you can find him reading, fishing, and exploring new places.
