From sharing his knowledge about the famed Madagascar lemurs and other unique wildlife in the region, to the unique Malagasy culture and environmental challenges, Vy Raharinosy is a wonderful ambassador of his native country. You can often find him traversing to every known part of Madagascar, where he has been a professional guide since 1998. Vy is fluent in Malagasy and also speaks English and French.
Vy was truly outstanding and did a great job of working with everyone from guests to guides to folks in the lodges and restaurants. Planning and executing a trip like this all over a very challenging country must be extraordinarily challenging, and he did an outstanding job of taking care of everyone and everything in an exceptionally professional and confidence-inspiring manner. We felt like we were in extremely capable hands the entire time.
