Europe Trip Leader

Lísa Óskarsdóttir

Lisa is a native Icelander and an outdoor adventurer who spends most of her time climbing, hiking, and biking on the mountains and glaciers of Iceland. She has a degree in adventure guiding from Thompson Rivers University in BC, Canada, and has also completed advanced courses from the Association of Icelandic Mountain Guides in mountaineering and glacier travels. She's used her knowledge gained from these courses throughout the past many years working as a full-time guide in Iceland. She loves traveling throughout Iceland and around the world—one of her favorite trips was a month-long backpacking trip in New Zealand. When she's not scaling mountains or biking down the trails, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, doing just about anything. “Life has been one big adventure for me and I do my best to be grateful and enjoy every day”.
