Lebo

Lebo, whose Bhutanese name translates as “good boy,” was born in the village of Katsho in Bhutan’s little-visited Haa Valley. He attended high school in Thimphu, complementing his professional training with studies in Buddhist iconography, culture, history, and botany. In addition to his years of experience as a guide, Lebo has also traveled to Thailand, Nepal, India and Australia for courses in management and leadership. Lebo shares the rhythm of daily life in Bhutan with his travelers through personal welcomes at villages and in farmhouses, and as a guide he is appreciated for his caring nature and attention to detail. When not on the trail, you can find Lebo at his farm in Haa practicing archery (Bhutan’s national sport) or birdwatching.
