Magali was raised in a small town near Mercantour National Park on the French-Italian border. Growing up, she often spent time on her grandparents’ farm, where she developed a deep love for nature and the outdoors. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and is also certified as a Guide Conférencier (certified specialist guide in art and history), which allows her to guide in all of France’s historic monuments (and lets our groups skip the line!). Magali says that leading WT trips confirms her passion for guiding, communicating, sharing experiences, promoting cultures, and working with small groups. She is fluent in English, French, and Italian, and when not guiding, she enjoys painting, birding, and mountain biking.
Magali is an excellent hiker and very outgoing and friendly to all—she definitely added to the overall trip. She is multilingual, which really comes in handy.
Magali is charming, conducted herself very capably, and worked excellently with our Trip Leader Tim.
A lovely woman with a terrific future—and hopefully one with Wilderness Travel. She is a keeper!
Magali had the infectious quality of assurance and nothing was ever too much trouble. She is an absolutely wonderful steady driver, and we all appreciated and enjoyed her artistic sense.
