Anne Brearley

Anne Brearley has probably spent the same amount of time on the mountains in a single season than most do in their entire lives. She is a member of BAIML (British Association of International Mountain Leaders) and the C.A.I. (Club Alpino Italiano) and guides for us in Italy's Dolomites. She has climbed over 25 of the world's 4,000-meter peaks, including the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc—and her love for mountaineering has led her to the Canadian Rockies, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Ladakh, Kenya, Tanzania (Kilimanjaro), and Latin America. When she's not leading trips in the mountainous realms of the world, you can find her rock climbing, cross-country skiing, competing at the national level in orienteering and ski-orienteering, or participating in ski marathons. She lives in Trieste, Italy.
