Resources
Enjoy a Private Journey in the incredible wildlife habitats of Namibia and Botswana. In Namibia, a world of desert-adapted animals and infinite blue skies, explore the mountains of Damaraland and amazing dunescapes of Sossusvlei, then head to the renowned safari paradise of Botswana. In Botswana, set out for gameviewing in the Okavango Delta, with its islands and lily-covered lagoons, and on the teeming savannas of Linyanti, an exclusive private reserve on fabled Chobe National Park’s western edge. Botswana’s untouristed and immense gamelands offer world-class gameviewing by open vehicle and—a Botswana specialty—by mokoro (dugout canoe). Superbly located wilderness camps and lodges put you in the heart of these celebrated landscapes, and you conclude your journey at majestic Victoria Falls.

Days 1-6
Namibia’s Magical Damaraland, Golden Dunes
In remote Damaraland, explore a prime wilderness where desert elephant and highly endangered desert black rhino roam. At the celebrated Sossusvlei Dunes, rising from acacia-dotted desert pans, hike the dunes as the morning light changes the colors from mauve to burnt orange, and explore by 4WD. Optional balloon safaris offer stunning aerial views.
Days 7-12
Botswana: Okavango Delta, Chobe, and Linyanti Game Reserve
In the heart of the lush Okavango Delta, search for wildlife by 4WD and mokoro (dugout canoe). An exclusive private reserve on fabled Chobe National Park’s western edge, Linyanti’s riverine forests, grasslands, and waterholes along the Savuti Channel are habitat for zebra, giraffe, buffalo, lion, wild dog, hyena, hippo, and more. Explore on guided walks, by 4WD, and from special gameviewing hides.
Days 13-14
Victoria Falls, Zambia
Experience the natural wonder of Victoria Falls, known to locals as Mosi-oa-Tunya, “The Smoke that Thunders.” Options include rafting, helicopter flights, and a sunset cruise. Depart on Day 14.
