Days 1-6
Accra, Ghana / Lome, Togo / Ganvie, Benin

Fly to Accra and board the Corinthian II. After touring Accra, we cruise to Togo and Benin, where we explore handicraft markets, museums, and traditional lakeside villages, including the picturesque fishing village of Ganvie, built entirely on stilts.

Days 7-14
Limbe, Cameroon, to the Congo

After visiting Limbe’s noted Botanic and Zoological Gardens, we head to Equatorial Guinea and Bioko Island, whose rainforests contain extraordinary wildlife, including endangered primates. In Gabon, we walk in the Akanda Forest, home to a large migratory bird population, then†visit the two-island nation of Sao Tome and Principe, where we discover Santo Antonio, the atmospheric small capital, and explore the lush interior of Sao Tome, known for its rich biodiversity. After a day at sea, we take an excursion on the storied Congo River, explored by countless adventurers searching for Africa’s riches.

Days 15-21
Kissama National Park, Angola / Benguela / Walvis Bay, Namibia

In Angola, we discover Kissama National Park, home to excellent birdlife, and Benguela, Angola’s cultural capital. In Walvis Bay, whose wetlands are a preserve for migratory birds, we experience the Namib Desert Park, with its incredibly beautiful sand dunes. Disembark on Day 20 and fly home via Cape Town, arriving on Day 21.

Corinthian II

The Corinthian II accommodates just 114 guests in 57 outside-facing suites offering views of the sea and landscape. There are expansive open deck areas and attractive facilities, including an exercise area, library, beauty salon, two lounges, a sun deck with Jacuzzi, and an outdoor cafe. A spacious restaurant accommodates all guests in an open, unassigned seating and the cuisine is outstanding. Served by 70 seasoned officers and crew, Corinthian II complies with the latest international safety regulations and is outfitted with the most current navigational technology.
