Days 2-3
Malindi / The Driftwood

These days are at leisure to enjoy the many activities offered at The Driftwood, which include deep-sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling, windsurfing, kite-surfing, water skiing, and bird watching on the Sabaki Delta or in the Arabuko-Sokoke forest, a stunning primary forest about a half-hour drive from Malindi. A short ride away is Malindi itself, rich in Swahili culture and historical sites including the Gedi ruins and Malindi old town, whose streets and squares are home to many ancient mosques and churches. Just want to relax? Walk along the four miles of white-sand beach or indulge in treatments from the resort’s spa.
