Fly to Athens, Greece, and embark on the Corinthian II. After a day at sea we arrive in Alexandria. We travel to Cairo to visit the fabled Great Pyramids, the enigmatic Sphinx, and the dazzling Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. The next day we tour Alexandria’s ancient ruins.

Days 6-8
Tubruq, Libya / Cyrene / Apollonia

Cruising west to the harbor town of Tubruq, once an ancient Greek colony, we visit the monumental World War II battle sites and cemeteries, then explore the fantastic 7th century BC Greek city of Cyrene, dramatically located on a hill facing the azure blue sea, and the ancient seaport of Apollonia.
