Hotel du Lac

Lugano, Switzerland
It’s all about the views at the Hotel du Lac, the only one on the lake side of the road circling Lake Lugano. All guest rooms face the lake and enjoy splendid panoramic views, and since this is Switzerland, feather comforters are the norm. Once a silk house, it was converted into a hotel in the 1920s, and has a friendly staff. The bar, veranda, and terrace are great places to meet up with friends and it’s about a 20-minute walk to the center of town. The hotel has been in the Kneschaurek family since 1920.
