Chiclayo, Peru
Chiclayo’s largest and most comfortable hotel (although one without much personality), the Gran Hotel is a business-style hotel. Amenities include two restaurants, a bar, and a pool. There is not a lot to see in Chiclayo itself, but the town serves as the gateway to the famous nearby archaeological sites at Sipan and Tucume as well as two excellent museums on pre-Inca Moche culture.
