Carp Island, Palau
A simple ecolodge on its own private island, Carp Island Resort boasts an extraordinary location just 10 minutes from world-famous sites like the Blue Corner and Blue Hole. The Palau-style beachfront bungalows are spacious but somewhat spartan, set along the resort’s own meandering mile-long beach and cooled with ceiling fans. Meals are served buffet style. Electricity is supplied by generator. The resort has a very long dock extending way out into the water, and at night, it’s an incredible place to stargaze under the brilliant sky in the wonderfully balmy evenings.
