Patria Palace Hotel

Lecce, Italy

The Patria Palace Hotel has a great location in the heart of Lecce’s historic center, close to museums and shops and just around the corner from a 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater. The hotel, a magnificent stone Baroque palace with high ceilings and wide stairways, is one of the examples of the Renaissance period during which the King of Naples intended to lavish the city of Lecce with the utmost sophisticated art and architecture. Each of the hotel’s 63 rooms is nicely decorated, and from an outdoor balcony close to the rooftop, we have views of the awe-inspiring façade of the 17th century Basilica of Santa Croce, with its intricate stone carvings.
