The Parisutham has an unbeatable location just a five-minute walk to the World Heritage Site of Brihdishwara Temple, the marvelous 11th century complex that dominates the skyline of Thanjavur. Although its located in the center of town, it is quiet and peaceful inside. This hotel is somewhat simple, but it is the best in Thanjavur and we’ve returned to it year after year for the genuine hospitality of the staff and the well-kept rooms. The pool is great for a refreshing dip after a warm South Indian day.
