Taj Fisherman’s Cove

The Taj Fisherman’s Cove is our sunny landing spot at the end our South Indian odyssey. Set outside Chennai but still offering easy access to the city, this tranquil beach resort is a peaceful haven with 25 acres of manicured grounds. Amenities include three restaurants, two of which are outdoors (a beachside table at the Bayview Restaurant right on the Bay of Bengal is hard to beat!), a palm-fringed swimming pool, and a spa offering Indian massage therapies. The gardens and landscaped grounds are lovely and well kept, and the restaurants are excellent. The hotel is just 20 minutes from the fantastic World Heritage Site temples at Mammallapuram.
