The Bangala is a family-run heritage hotel in Karaikudi, the main town in Chettinard country. It has been in the same family for 100 years and was transformed into a 25-room hotel about 12 years ago, centered around the original colonial garden. It has a relaxed ambience and a traditional kitchen that serves authentic Chettinard cuisine.
