Duba Plains Camp

Okavango Delta, Botswana

Remote Duba Plains Camp is located on a tree-filled island in the furthest reaches of the Delta surrounded by seasonally flooded plains. Six roomy canvas tents on raised platforms feature en suite bathrooms with shower and flush toilets as well as an outdoor shower (views to die for) and a veranda overlooking the floodplains. The dining room and bar area are also on raised platforms, as is the swimming pool. Duba Plains was the setting for a well-known National Geographic documentary of the classic lion and buffalo interaction that is unique to this area.
