Yongto Tented Camp

Haa Valley, Bhutan

September and October departures only
Our lovely campsite features 10' x 10' walk-in tents furnished with sturdy US-made cots, fresh linens, pillows, and quilts. The tents, protected by a waterproof cover, are in a beautiful forest setting next to the Haa River, from which we can draw water for an optional Bhutanese hot-stone bath, a form of relaxation practiced in Bhutan since time immemorial. We dine in a large, hand-made Bhutanese dining tent decorated with auspicious Buddhist symbols. Local people often visit us at camp, and it allows us access to seldom-visited shrines and small villages. A 4' x 5' toilet tent with a seat is provided.
