Yongto Tented Camp

Haa Valley, Bhutan

Our lovely campsite at Yongto at 8,760 feet features large, walk-in tents furnished with cots and fresh linens. The tents are in a beautiful forest setting next to the Haa River, from which we can draw water for an optional Bhutanese hot-stone bath, a popular form of meditation and relaxation practiced in Bhutan since time immemorial. Local villagers often come to visit us in this camp, and while it is definitely tucked away “off the beaten path,” it allows easy access to seldom-visited shrines and small villages.
