Pasang Temba

Pasang Temba Sherpa, born in Khunde (12,600'), a Sherpa village below Mount Everest, has been leading treks for 20 years. He has guided throughout Nepal's Khumbu and Annapurna regions as well as in Tibet and the Himalayas of India. One of his trekking expeditions took him in search of the yeti (the legendary "abominable snowman") with a BBC film crew, and he has also guided for mountaineer Peter Hillary, son of Sir Edmund Hillary. Pasang Temba has visited Australia and Europe and speaks excellent English When not guiding, he can be found at his lodge in Pheriche (13,900') on the trail to Everest Base Camp.
