Kristina Studena

Kristina Studena, a native of the Czech Republic, has guided many trips in Eastern Europe as well as the Caucasus.  Professionally, she also teaches Czech and German. Her other languages are English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Kristina has a passion for languages because they give her a tool for understanding other countries,  their inhabitants, and their cultures. She also enjoys exploring the lesser known towns and villages with a “spirit of place,” learning the legends and stories about local cultures, and discovering the essence of a country, not just the facts about it. As a Trip Leader, Kristina is ready to share her enthusiasm for the history, music, legends, traditions, and cuisine of the Carpathian realm.
