Ma'an Sabbagh
Ma'an Sabbagh, who has led our journeys to Libya and Syria for many years, began guiding in 1990 after completing his studies in English literature, working as an English teacher, and writing stories for local magazines in his native Syraia. "I bring my love for the dramatic, stark, and sometimes lush nature of the Middle East to my work as a professional guide, and I have a true passion for the nature, culture, and history of this mysterious corner of the world." He is also an advocate for the conservation of the historical sites and natural environment in the Middle East. Ma'an has led Western journalists and media groups and also guided Syrian travelers on journeys throughout Europe, a good opportunity to study the comparative cultures. He is a member of the Damascus hiking club. Ma'an speaks English and Arabic.
